Get fit, have fun and support a great mission! Participants of all ages and skill levels are invited to participate in the second Spring Lake Heritage Festival 5K Run/Walk. This exciting event includes a 5K race, a walk for families, Kid’s Fun Run (new this year), an awards ceremony, door prizes and snacks

STARTING LINE & TIME:
The 5K Run and Walk starts at 8:00 a.m., and winds through some of the most scenic parts of Spring Lake.
Bridge construction is forcing a change to our course this year! The starting line is at the intersection of Fruitport Road and State Rd. Participants will complete an out and back section on State Rd instead of the Fruitport Road section we ran last year. The second half of the course will be identical to last year’s route. Follow Beach Dr to Alden St and finish via the bike path.

All runners and walkers must be registered and have a race number to participate. Please no bikes, skateboards or roller blades on the course. Strollers are welcome.

MACATAWA BANK KIDS FUN RUN:
This race is truly a family event. The Kid’s Fun Run begins at 8:45 a.m. near the 5K Finish Line. It’s free, please register using the space at the back of the 5K registration form. Every Fun Run finisher receives a free t-shirt!

PACKET PICK-UP:
T-shirt/packet pick-up will be Saturday, June 21, from 6:30-7:45 am at Central Park in Spring Lake. You will receive your timing chip and race number at this time.
RESULTS & TIMING:
Results will be professionally timed by Great Lakes Championchip using the Championchip system. Final results will be available within minutes of the finish. Results will be available on-line at www.greatlakeschampionchip.com within 24 hours and will be printed in the Grand Haven Tribune on Tuesday, June 24.
AWARDS/AGE CATAGORIES:
Awards will be given to the overall male and female winners, the male and female master winner, and the top three male and female winners in the following age categories: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over.
